Two men were stabbed during an argument with a 61-year-old man over a car parking space in Sydney's inner west, police said today.
NSW Police said a 32-year-old man and a 23-year-old man were taken to Canterbury Hospital following the incident which occurred in Rome Street, Canterbury, about 8.30pm yesterday.
The 23-year-old underwent emergency surgery for a wound to his stomach and remains in a serius but stable condition.
The 32-year-old was treated for a chest wound and was later released from hospital.
Police arrested the 61-year-old man in a nearby house in High Street a short time later.
The man has been charged with malicious wounding and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He will appear in Parramatta Bail Court today.

LOL butter! Don't know their sobriety Orleander. Sydney is a great city but I think it would be tough living there, each time I go there the traffic seems to get worse.
