the craziest thing I saw an LEO do

I walked in to this rest room at an all night techno concert. Aparently an LEO had just busted someone for selling XTC. They were arguing back and forth, suddenly he walked the dealer into the stall and shut the door. There was alot of muffled talking, some shuffling and then a flush. The cop opened the door and left the restroom. When he was gone I asked the dealer what happened. He said the cop flushed his pills (about 40) and "confiscated" about $2000 dollars in cash. I told him he got off easy, and he told me to f*#@ off. At these events, this one in particular had about 8,000 people, there are so many dealers and users,(not everyone though) was the cop saving time by scareing the hell out of this kid or was he just being crooked? I think he should of busted that kid's *** and thrown him in prison. Drugs are the ruin of techno concerts( but thats a long argument for another day)

uh, well... i don't know about that. i went to a few "raves" (I hate them, its not my style but these two girls dragged me there) and yes there were various pills being sold and I did witness the bouncers and plain clothes officers arrest some guy for selling it. The guy had a wad of cash and well let's just say they didn't take the suspect into the restroom and "rough him up" and take his cash! They put the cash in a zip lock bag I believe.

So it was by the book - I don't know about that situation you witnessed, maybe the guy was not a LEO. Was he wearing a uniform?! Usually they are in street clothes at these events (so people told me).

Id say go to the Police department and make an anonymous complaint about what you have observed. And let the internal investigation deal with it.
    Yes. The cop is crooked.

    Yes. The cop is crooked.
Awfully assumptive. Why do you assume the cop did not turn the cash in as evidence? Why do believe the original poster?

Maybe you should read your own rant about being an a*hole.

I saw what I saw, its possible, maybe, he took the money as evidence, but why didn't take the pills and the dealer? He was in uniform. Also this department is notorious for corruption, almost everyday the local news is doing a story about this departments screw ups.

If it was turned in as evidence then the officer has nothing to worry about when the department gets the call and begins to investigate.
Since the drugs were flushed, where did the cash some from and why is there no drug dealing suspect in custody to go with it?

Hmm...call me crazy, but I would take the word of a LEO over that of an anonymous drug dealer.
Truth be told; no one here knows what happened, or if it even happened at all. And quite honestly, I don't really care. If I had any factual basis whatsoever, I might seriously consider it.
