Hmm...call me crazy, but I would take the word over a LEO over that of an anonymous drug dealer.
Truth be told; no one here knows what happened, or if it even happened at all. And quite honestly, I don't really care. If I had any factual basis whatsoever, I might seriously consider it.

If you had someone call in to make an anonymous report that they saw the situation desribed above how would you know if they were a drug dealer?

No, we don't know exactly what happened, so let's just avoid anything having to do with it possibly being right. I understand the reasoning for doing that and it's honestly worse than if you just addressed it head on.
