Well in defense of Group 9... we all know France has a reputation of being cowards and not being able to fight their own wars. But truthfully, knowing what the French reputation is... I found the link to the France SWAT a bit humorous. I have nothing against the french. A good friend of mine is from Belguim.

I think it's a bit sad that the recent villification of France (and Germany) over Iraq was pure politics. GWB is getting to be friends again with Germany. Next he will pal up with France and all the bad words and thoughts of the last few months will disappear off the record to be replaced with how Jaques is a witty bloke who makes GWB laugh, just like Gerhard does (now).

The French are not cowards. They lost millions of soldiers in WWI. In WWII although the Vichy Government sold out their country and aided in the transportation of French Jews to Nazi concentration camps (a dark period in French history) they weren't alone. And remember that there were many very brave people who fought the Nazis in the Resistance and in the Maquis. I shouldn't take this seriously but there needs to be a balancing comment here.

Jeez if we believed stereotypes then you would think Australia was full of people like Steve Irwin when nothing could be further from the truth. Not many of us want to chuck our kids at crocodiles (although sometimes.......)

Of course everyone has a koala and a roo - but we must be tbe only nation in the world that eats its Coat of Arms (emu and kangaroo).

This is not a joke, this group exist and it's the best one. There's the same one in Germany and in Italy.

It's very hard to be recruit, because you have to be a specialist in one domain...

I thinq that it's interesant to discover an other polices and others methods...
