A good way to avoid blisters is to wear a very thin pair of socks under your regular. The two pair of socks rub together and not your skin. I learned that in the military to avoid them on long marches. I wore my dress socks under the wool ones and never got blisters once.

Can honestly say that the way I wear them I've never had that happen (although close, but they never make it all the way up there). The problem I usually have is when they come undone at the shirt and then fall out of your pant leg and you end up dragging it along before you realize and fix it. I solve that by using small safety pins to pin thru them and then they don't come undone! Originally Posted by G35 Mass
