    Rectum? Damn near killed him.

Man may have smuggled gun in rectum, officials say

No one seems to be able to find the bullets. I don't think he quite thought this out. Wonder why he went unloaded revolver? Or how many times Norm made it through TSA.

Probably should have went with a Glock. Stool softener may work on the plastic.

And those of you bashing open carry....

Think the jailers call him Dirty Harry?

Polymer is the fancy marketing name for plastic. Tupperware is what your mom called it.

Still would love to hear what the jailers said "Oh, it's loaded. Just not with bullets."

Or the radio call in jail "We found some guy packing in the jail. We're going to need the deputy firearms huckleberry to clear this one. We're having trouble identifying it" and then wait for firearm aficionados rushing to be the first to see what kind of exotic weapon they are going to get to play with.

Does Number 7 get rid of Number 2?

Or maybe you jsut seal it in the evidence bag and let the prosecutor deal with it at court. "OMFG, they didn't clean it."

    From the link...

Deputies said last week a gun was found inside the cell of Canton, who used another person's identity when he was booked. Authorities wanted medical officials to evaluate Canton for possible injuries to his rectum, where deputies think he concealed the unloaded .38-caliber, six-barrel revolver.

I've seen three-barrel revolvers. Never heard of the six-barrel.

Just trying to scare off his new cellmate. He goes in unprotected and comes out with five barrels aimed at the jewels.

I'm still wondering at what point during hte insertion process he discovered that he forgot the bullets. Or maybe it's felon logic "if I put it in loaded, there's a good chance it could go off when the doc tries to take it out. better ot risk it."

Or maybe it was just a threat and he planned his escape during the drop and spread search "nobody move, I got you covered. Now I;m going to back out of here real slowly."

Wow, that sounds painful to say the least. I wonder too how many times he's gotten away with this. And how common is it for a perp to get away with using another person's name when being booked. That's outright creepy.

Makes you wonder what made him go through the process of placing the gun there...
