    L.A. Noire

Anyone else played it? I'm enjoying the heck out of it. It's the closest we're going to get to a Dragnet/Adam-12 game.

    Yes it was very good.

I absolutely hated the damage and vehicle control. It felt like the cars were on a raul system. IMO they rushed the physics engine for the driving. But everything else was great.

In addition: Being a naitive from LA, it's nice to show off our skyline for once. Got real tired of playing games in the New York skyline. My one complaint, they didn't do HOJJ (Hall of Justice Jail) justice. That thing is a marvel still and it's all boarded up.

I was thinking of picking it up, but didn't know if it would feel like a "bus man's holiday" when you do law enforcement work. You guys using a guide or just playing it straight out? If it's getting positives here I may have to invest.

No guides. It's like playing the main character ftom LA Confidential, Dragnet and Adam 12 all in one. Good game and you can get it used to save some bucks

I have it, too. I got 4 stars on most of them my first time, no guide. I have five stars now on every case but the Silk Stocking Murder.
