Glock 23 (40 cal)

So I bought a nice used glock 23 (40 caliber) and I just love the way they feel in my hand and shooting it is nice because it has power and I find it comfortable. I am wondering if its a good gun to carry in armed security or police work? Do any of you carry it? I hear its good as a side arm and due to it being compact, it makes a good hide away weapon as well.

How do you all feel about this particular firearm?

I have been carrying my G-23 in .40 since the late 90's. Back then , we had a choice as to what Glock we wanted and I chose the 23 because it fit my hand better. Today I wouldn't have that same choice ( have to get a 22) but I can keep my 23 and I,ll get it when I retire.

I am quite happy with my 23.

I have one and I like it. If I had to choose though, I would probably go with my XD 9mm. I love that little gun.

Do you find the 23 concealable with maybe an IWB holster? I am struggling with getting a 23 or a 27. I was going to create a new post about it.

In my plainclothes assignment , I wear it with a Blackhawk belt loop holster. Works very well for me.

I find there is not enough space between the "waist" and the "band" but I think that's a different problem.
