issues with Winchester Winclean BEB ammo

We were short on practice ammo and the undersheriff got a good deal from
    one of the police suppliers.
We went to the range today and this stuff SUCKS.
Multiple failure to go into battery.
The malfunctions were evenly spit between Glock and Springfield shooters.
They were shooting 40s and 45s.
This stuff has a flat nose and I am not sure if the is the cause.
We have at least a years worth of this stuff left for practice.
On a clear night, I can see the other deputies emergency lights at least 10 miles away.
But it isnt flat here LOL

Flat nose doesn't usually give me problems. If the gun feeds hollowpoints it has always fed flat nose IME.

That particular ammo has a spotty reputation in a lot of forums so there could be a some bad lots out there. Have the undersheriff contact Winchester. They may replace the ammo, worth a try.
