Just finished her "war paint", retro 177ish clone with M203:
She is an SBR, 11.5" heavy barrel, lathed to accept the 203 barrel band, the lower is an American Spirit Arms, Upper is an A1 with early Colt delta ring and dust cover, A1 pistol grip, aluminum 2 position stock, replica 177 Moderator. M203 is a Shivak lower, Colt barrel in 40mm. Here is a photo of her before I changed out the upper from an A2 to the A1 and pre-paint:

Will that paint wear off with use or is it like a Parkerised finish?

The paint is Krylon Plastic fusion camo colors. There are quite a few people using it these days for firearms. It has a very matte finish, low light reflection. As much as I tinker with them, it's doing fine so far, and it bonds to the plastic in the guards and grips. I have a Beowulf I did in the same scheme I need to take some photos of. I usually don't paint stuff either, but the 177 just had to be striped. I plan on doing some retro displays with period specific gear. Working on a few other projects too.
