im 24 i live in NJ and wanted to know how to obtain a firearms permit. when i was 20 i was arrested for possession of marijuana 6.4 grams and received a conditional discharge. since then nothing has happened and that was my only offense, i guess you could say i was scared straight. i am joining the Marines but need to wait for an opening in the mean time i would like to get a firearms license will i still be able to get this with my current record?
