Yes, I do not disagree. I would never want my children to get their hands on a weapon when I was not at home, nor defending themselves with one. I just think that gun safety takes alot of the "idolization" away from it. I don't have children, so I don't have to worry about that, but what if someone breaks into my home and finds it? I dont' know. But when I go to bed my gun is very close to me, and very well concealed so that should the event arise then the burglar, rapist, whatever, has got one hell of a big surprise awaiting for him or worse yet her. Yuck.

I knew when I posted it I'd have to be careful with my words to say exactly what I meant to say. Wonder how long I'll be on the defensive:D .
    That's Ok, I like it there:D .
OK Zadlow. No need to be on the defensive. My pet peeve is someone telling me that I dont have the right to defend myself or my family and just trust the police to be there. If the police could see into the future they all would be getting rich on wall street. lmao Just give me a minute to remove the soapbox from my six and all is forgivin.
    Stay safe,
    Norm

removing the soapbox from your six lol

Yeah, I wasn't saying anybody didn't have the right to defend themselves, I was just saying it's something people should think over. Depending on the home and on how they treat the gun, it might not always make the home safer. I will now remove my soapbox also.
