I feel compelled to mention that nobody should choose a G19 without first being familiar with the Type III jam that NYC has found.
Essentially, the round fails to clear from the ejector pin and stays on the face of the bolt as it comes forward and strips a new round.
This causes a particularly difficult to clear jam.
It can occur with new or old guns, small or large hand, tight or loose grip, weak or strong wrist, etc.
In short, any gun is subject to this jam.
Pretty much everything you can think of in terms of tuning or modifying has been tried in an effort to fit the problem but nothing consistantly works.
Glock does not admit to the problem but they will replace your gun if it happens.
So, be aware of it as part of your decision process.
By a .357 or a .40 either Sig, Glock, or H&K are good.
