Hehe baretta eh? You'll get that notion in your head from watching the lethal weapon series(baretta paid to have its handguns used in all four movies)and yet there is a noticible anti-gun theme in the series(especially in the 4th with those anti-NRA plugs...which is pathetic if you ask me).

I wouldn't like barettas much except for my brigadier 40sw. What a gun

I own a Beretta 92FS in addition to my HK USP 40. I've never had a problem with the Beretta (I've owned it for about 8 years now). It's heavier than either the Glock 23C I used to own, as well as the HK, & I prefer the .40cal round over the 9mm round, but it still shoots great. It was also cheaper than either the Glock or HK (all were bought brand-new).

I also prefer the Glock but I have to admit I love the looks of a USP Compact. Just recently I found a guy that had a LEM version of the USP. It has the "safe-action" style trig so its the same everytime u press it. I think a lot of Glock fans will be trying these out.

Or you can do what my bud does, he keeps his compact USP 40 in condition one C&L, not sure how safe it is but its just like a 1911 w/o the grip saftey.

I know how you feel! I've got a place on the barrel where the slide rubbed against it when it was new. I've taken good care of it over the years, so other than that, it's in good shape. It's not my duty weapon, so it won't get worn like the HK will.

No way, the only person I have met that has the same gun as me. What are your thoughts on it? I am having problems with the DA pull, though I have been told that it can be fixed and smoothed out, as it is a little rough right now.

I own a all three of the above brands of guns now. But the Glock is a .40 and the H&k and Sig are .45. 3 of the greatest shootin weapons in my mind. The H&K maybe expensive but it shoots like butter, peace of art going off in your hand and its accurate as hell. Well worth the money. The glock is very accurate but it takes time gettign used to its ugly appearence. The sig is a quality weapon and shoots like a dream, but not as accurate as the other 2. I say any of the 3 are a great choise.
