Hmmm.... I thought DSS did it, but I could be wrong.

Either way, I have done a significant amount of PSD work. I am not a fan. It's ok at first and it can be decent, depending on who it is. Still... too many factors involved for my taste... well, that, and I am not much of a suit guy.

I have no idea, that's why I asked. At any rate, I'm waiting for the first retired USSS guy to write a book on the Clintons......

I don't mind suits, but I hate crowds ever since the early race riots and anti war protesters here. Besides, I've always preferred to work with no more than one other person.

Apparently, I'm supposed to be more angry about what Mitt Romney does with his money than what Barack & Michelle Obama do with mine

    Two decent reads....
    1) About the Clintons by Robert Patterson, the guy who carried the "football" titled 'Deriliction of Duity.' I think I have it sitting on my desk, if I do, you are welcome to it. Have to check when I get home.

    2) About a bunch stories from retired Secret Service Agents about our current President back to President Truman....easy read and a cheap book written by Ronald Kessler titled ‘In the President’s Secret Service.’

I read that DSS did it when she was on official SoS business and USSS all other times. I guess no single agency could stand her 24/7.

Thanks, Joey. I'll check my local library for it. Did you ever read that book, New York?

That would make sense given her situation. In the United States, DS agents man the protection details for the Secretary of State, the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, and visiting cabinet-level foreign dignitaries. But, as the former first lady she likely gets USSS protection at home, as obviously does her husband. Not sure if that works out to Agent A from DS and Agent B from USSS sitting up all night together at the Clinton estate or what, but suffice to say some agent in a dark suit with sunglasses and an radio ear piece is just off her shadow at all times.
