Obama Reduces Pay Increase for Federal Employees

I talked with a neighbor who is a city cop, he just received word that he is not getting a pay raise for the year, not even COLA.

Anyone familiar with what Obama signed a few weeks ago concerning student loan repayment? If i can remember correctly if you serve 10 years in the federal service your student loans are forgiven?

Well, ain't that something. Got my 10 years in and paid off my student loans about 8 years ahead of schedule. That's fine though. I borrowed money, I paid it back! That's how it should be!

Leaving it the same for awhile I could understand, but I sure hope it would be difficult to lower what is already there because most areas aren't exactly making par as it is.
