Read the email you got, follow the instructions. If it says attire is business casual, don't show up in jeans.

That's the language my email invite used as well - to respond to the email they sent in order to save yourself a seat; I responded the day after I received the invite but I have yet to hear confirmation so I guess I will double check that today.

For my Phase I, I showed up in khaki pants and a collared shirt (short sleeve), some guys were in ties, etc. but I wanted to be comfortable during mine. To my knowledge the test no longer includes the comprehensive Math portion, so it should be a little better.
Good luck to you both!

That's good to know about the first PCS, the FBI's budget is set to increase by a about 6.5% this year which equates to a tad over a half-billion dollars, so if anyone has the budget to pay first PCS (just under eight billion total for FY2010) you would think it would be the FBI.

I used the GMAT study guide and GMAT study cards; I thought it helped me pretty well, especially the cards

Well,
Yesterday was interesting, I can say that much.
The room of other people taking the class were about
what I expected. A lot of college students, some older
LE/Mil/etc. Most dressed well.
The recruiter spent equal time emphasizing 3 years of
full-time work on your resume, and proper PFT protocol.
All in all the test was roughly what I expected. Something
akin to the SAT and the DLAB. It made my brain hurt, but at
least there wasn't math on it.
Now to wait 30 or so days and see how I did.

Passed phase I and during the 1v1 with the SA Applicant Coordinator, I disclosed I had a disability and they wanted me to get a narrative from my physician saying I was able to perform the physical duties required for an SA before they would submit my file to HQ for Phase II consideration? I thought that was the medical towards the end after you already received a COE?

I just got my thin letter.
Turns out those can be good too, since I passed.
Now I am getting together my updated resume, pt eval
and all that.
Hopefully, on to phase 2!

Does it make a difference? You either get held up before Phase II or you get held up after Phase II. Personally, I would rather get held up before Phase II, and I'm sure your applicant coordinator would rather have this issue cleared up before he or she wastes a Phase II slot on someone who might be unable to perform the duties required for the job.
Getting hired by the FBI is not a sprint. It's a marathon, and a delay of a few weeks here or a month there is nothing. It happens to most people.

It would only make for a difference if it "somehow" skewed the selection process, cue Federal law pertaining to the ADA which says that medical determination will be done only after a COE has been rendered.
A large number of applicants are filtered out in just getting a Phase II invite, let alone the Phase II interview in and of itself. While one would sure like to think that out of any employer Fed or civilian, that the FBI would be the last one to violate Federal law, but they unfortunately already have a record; ref. Kapche v. Holder.
