I figured the DUSM FCIP applicants from March have their own thread, why can't we? Anybody here receive phone calls or emails for a seat in the information session.

I sent an e-mail to the Alabama region at exactly 9:01AM and didn't get an invitation. I sent them another e-mail the next day and still didn't get an invitation or a reply:mad:, Geez what does it take to get invited??

Don't feel bad I'm in the same boat as you. I sent mine at 0902 hrs to be exact for the Miami information session and still not a word. Hopefully someone here with an insider contact, let's us know what's going on.

I attended the Birmingham session on the 20th. It was informative and seems to be the best time to put in with USMS. I believe the hardest part will be getting an interview. Obviously the folder you completed during the info sesssion will be sent to DC and they will decide who gets an interview and who doesn't. The senior DUSM at the session advised us that we should hear something the last week of October/first week of November for an interview to be held in either Miami or Atlanta. The interview is the deciding time to give you a tentative offer pending the results of the Background, Medical, and FIT test. Good luck to those in the process for Region 3.

Did anyone notice that the address of the hotel that the interviews will be held at is different than the hotels actual address?
I googled both addresses and they don't match? The Marriott Biscayne Bay Hotel and Marina is not located on Miami Avenue as stated on the e-mail invite.

the address that they give its not a hotel its on usms website i out it in with the fl. and thats what came so i think i going to go with that

I received another e-mail from the USMS with the correct address.
