FBI Online Application: 9/15/09Some Kid: Let's say that i've identified myself and a crooked cop starts to talk to me in a way that i do not appreciate... In this case, can i walk away without getting into trouble? what prevents me from doing so?
Outshined: tasers
Phase I: 10/20/09 Passed
Phase II: TBD
My letter today from the USMS was dated on 8/18 and said I was found to be ineligible/not qualified as indicated below:
Do not meet USMS driving record guidelines...
I only have 7 points for the last for the last 7 years but I printed off my intire record. Good luck to the rest of you.
Sorry to hear that man. If you think it may be a misunderstanding you may want to look at an appeals process. I am not sure if there is one for your situation but I know a guy that was denied for another DOJ agency for something worse and found a way to appeal it to continue the process.
I guess this is going to be one of the those 'no news is good news' situations. Sorry to hear about the rejection letter fedmax, that's a tough break.
I feel your pain. I got rejected for drug history.
I guess the USMS is tougher than the military,
but it is their show, so they can run it how they want.
Good luck to all the other applicants!
Also, anyone know who looks at stuff on a more case-by-case basis,
besides the BoP (who look at the last 10 years)?

I have been waiting for about 2 years..... (San Diego). My buddy (Los Angeles) is alomost dond at FLETC...... Some of you guys just need to relax and just wait on instructions via email... I almost lost my mind waiting...... All I want is my FLETC date...... (October hoepfully)
NY2Cali,
I know what you mean. I am a FIT test away from FLETC, but sadly, I have an email from a contact in HR who told me that even though I will "likely be tested sometime in September" there will probably not be another class this year. I am hoping for Jan or Feb. Good Luck.

NYCTRAINER
Next year means Oct (Fiscal year)...... So i'm thinking late October, November. There should be a number of classes then, I will say that if you just interviewed in tha past few months, etc, through experience, it may be a while before you get on.... just based on what "I" experienced and what my friends who are already at FLETC for USMS have experienced!
Thanks for the clarification. Good to know that it might be sooner than I thought. I actually interviewed in 2007, so it's been a long wait (though not longer than for some). Thanks again for the heads up.
No offense, but I don't think your experiences are relevant in this case. Unlike any other year with which I am familiar, we have a TON of classes slated to go. As far as I know (and it could be cut down), there are 14 classes slated for next year. With each having 48 candidates, you do the math.
Things may be moving pretty quick for all those in the process.
