With all the regular overtime that people tell me UD has, which has the highest initial earnings potential during the first couple of years? SA or UD?
Not that I'm going into this career for the money, of course. Just curious.

Well with a lot of overtime I guess it is possible for a USSS UD officer to make more the first year or two maybe. I am not an expert at the pay grade system but it might be. But after two years I don't see how a UD officer can make as much as a 1811 who will end up making over $100,000 in a few years time I believe.
First year or two UD might make as much or more but once the SA hits GS-12 or GS-13 it's no contest.
What is the Journey man level for USSS UD?
Wrong door, buddy
Do you wnat to be a security guard or an investigator? UD is police type work in a confined geographical area of employment. If you meet the requirements go for the 1811 position, more possibilities for the future.
