    SCEP Program

Anyone familiar with the program? I have done some research on it. I am going to try to convert over to it from the STEP program, I have heard its been done before through that way. (Only worry is the switch might take awhile through paper etc). I have read if you complete the 640 hours and do an adequate job you are most likely guaranteed a position within that organization?

Once graduation approaches do you simply just go into training for the summer to fill a vacant spot? Would you have to say.. take the IEA test, ICE test, customs test etc... or do you just bypass the system since you are already in the organization and go to training for employment?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Steve

It depends on the agency, I came on through that program and we did not have to take a test. As long as our chief signed off on the paperwork for us to go into the academy we went right into the next class. It gets tricky because once you graduate with your degree you have a few months to get into a class or you are out of a job. You just have to coordinate your hours with the internship department at your school.
