IEA email?

Good day to all. I actually took the IEA test a couple of years back. I went to re-apply about 4 months ago and they said I was still on the books with the test.

I just got this email the other day …… anyone know what this means? I know to do as it says obviously, but I took this test at least 3 years ago …… either way. I know the IEA process is kinda’ odd, so maybe someone out there may know what comes next. Whatever you guys and gals can pass on is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

“Congratulations on passing the Immigration Enforcement Agent Written Test! In order to receive further consideration for the IEA position, you are required to submit your resume, veteran’s documentation (including a DD-214 and proof of eligibility in support of a veterans’ preference claim), and any additional supporting documentation, such as transcripts, if qualifying based on education. You must fax the required documentation to OPM at 1-478-757-3144 by COB 07/07/2009. This is not a toll-free number, so you are responsible for any charges incurred. Attached to this email you will find the Application Cover Page, which must be printed, filled out completely and correctly, and faxed in along with the required documentation. Failure to submit the required documentation will result in an Ineligible Rating due to an incomplete application.

Thank you for your interest in employment with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

They have been issuing everyone TOs regardless of score. Therefore, it is unnecessary to include the score on the NOR.

App. Manager

I have heard of a few applicants able to find their status on the Application Manager, but am unable to do so myself. I faxed in my information yesterday night and just want to know if I have done anything incorrectly.

I recall seeing a note that only after passing the test would one be able to access and proceed with their application process. This is different than the way other agencies do the application process so before I call to question, anyone with a similar experience?

Yea. I am just sitting tight and I hope that no news is good news since there are others in this same situation (as I have read on another board).

Good luck to you in the process.

Same question/ IEA Process

Just took my exam 10/8/09, recevied that identical e-mail witht he "Congrats" and no score noted just a couple days ago (10/27/09) and faxed over my items today. For those folks who posted a couple months ago...have you heard anything yet or are you all still in limbo? Just curious about what time frames I should be expecting. Thanks and good luck to everyone working on earning their ICE Badge.
