Good day to all. I actually took the IEA test a couple of years back. I went to re-apply about 4 months ago and they said I was still on the books with the test.
I just got this email the other day …… anyone know what this means? I know to do as it says obviously, but I took this test at least 3 years ago …… either way. I know the IEA process is kinda’ odd, so maybe someone out there may know what comes next. Whatever you guys and gals can pass on is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
“Congratulations on passing the Immigration Enforcement Agent Written Test! In order to receive further consideration for the IEA position, you are required to submit your resume, veteran’s documentation (including a DD-214 and proof of eligibility in support of a veterans’ preference claim), and any additional supporting documentation, such as transcripts, if qualifying based on education. You must fax the required documentation to OPM at 1-478-757-3144 by COB 07/07/2009. This is not a toll-free number, so you are responsible for any charges incurred. Attached to this email you will find the Application Cover Page, which must be printed, filled out completely and correctly, and faxed in along with the required documentation. Failure to submit the required documentation will result in an Ineligible Rating due to an incomplete application.
Thank you for your interest in employment with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
