    May 2009 CBPO tests/scores

I'm assuming at least one of you out there has taken the CBPO test recently? I just got my score yesterday and am now on the list for a slot in Lorado, TX. If any of you have taken the test do you mind sharing your scores and when/if you went forward in the process? Considering I 'know' I bombed the math portion I think the 85 I got (no Veterans preference) was a decent score. Thoughts?

The agency is also changing their pt test starting this July. Standards aren't yet posted, but it's now 1 minute push-ups and sit-ups, 10 second 'side step', 50lb lift/turn/lower, and then the 5 minute step test.

I took the May test too. I tested out of West Seneca, NY but still haven't gotten a score back. Hopefully, since you just got yours I'll be hearing something soon. I'm hoping to get something like an 85 because I bombed the math portion as well.

I'll post as soon as I hear something.

My test date was May 7th. Even more reason to think I'll be hearing something back soon. They said 4-6 weeks and today makes 4.

Scored an 81 back in February 07. Got my scores a short time later. About a year after that I got my tentative selection packet and started the hiring process which took about 6 months to get complete and get an EOD date. Aplication to graduation took over 2 years. Long wait was definately worth it though. Best of luck to all who tested.

I don't know if an 85 is a good score or not. I can email a few people and see what they think & i'll let you know.

    Are you married or single?

I work in the USBP Laredo ;) sector. The POE's in Laredo are very busy w/ lots of dope & human smuggling. If i remember right the POE in Laredo is the biggest truck land border here in the US.

Most people I know who live in Laredo live on the North side.

Have any of your buddies gotten back to you yet? I'm still waiting for CBPO to put up their new test regs that were supposed to be online by this past Monday.

I never got a chance to email them. I got pretty busy right at the end of my shift. I'll sent them an email when I go in tonight.

    Still waiting

Still haven't gotten my results back from the cbp test. How did they send them out? Email or real mail? Just so I know where I should be looking.

Just got my score in the mail. I rocked it with a 95! Hopefully that'll get me a call even though I picked the Jersey area.
