Does anyone know if results from polygraphs either pass/fail are sent out via US postal, or Fed-ex?

Sent to whom? ATF local office will send results to ATF HQ, but if you're asking if they will mail you a copy of your results from a test they administered to you, the answer is no.

Not the exact results of the polygraph, but more in the lines of whether or not a applicant is moving onto the next phase. For example if an applicant passes the poly he/she would move on to BI, which would probably be the last phase before being sent to hiring. My question in turn would be, if an applicant passes or fails the polygraph portion how are they notified?? Sorry if there was any misunderstanding. thank you
