Anybody hearing anything? I took my FIT test in December and have not gotten "the call". The FIT test are only good for 6 months..right? If so will I have to re-take it before I get a final offer of get the offer and take it again?

Any answers would be appreciated!

Hey, I'm a region 1 guy. 100% completed with the process as of Monday when I took my drug test. Now I'm sitting around with everyone else waiting (more like praying) for a spot in FLETC. It seems from reading other forums that the June 9th class is filling up rapidly. So now I'm looking toward the July classes and hoping maybe I will be fortunate enough to get one of those.

Fduflyer, it was 7 months after my fit test till i got the call for fletc. Be patient and good luck!!! Trust me-it is getting nasty hot here and you better be in top shape. Fyi-a boxing routine would be highly suggested. Also if you are slated for the july class you will get a call in the next two weeks. They generally give you at least two weeks notice as to what class you will attend

was just called today to re cert my PT test, original one I took was DEC 09. So thats good im hoping. If they want me active it must be for a reason lol. right? I cant lie ive slacked a bit since last one, I ran a 10:03. Dunno if itll be that fast but I will pass atleast :P

Hey Justinphx are you region 7? Did you retake your fit in Phoenix?

I found out that my background was cleared. They would not tell me my score though. My buddy was told his score, go figure. Oh well, maybe I will get the call for the second July class or at least by the end of the FY. Good luck to all.

Hopefully, you are right. I would not hold my breath if I were you, though. My buddy has been done with everything (to include BI and fit test) for more than 8 months.

Finishing your process is not the time-limiting factor here. Things depend more on what region you are in (the number of slots they are getting, etc.)

I havent heard of anybody getting the call for august yet. I have heard that the July class is full. I am going on 7 months from my FIT test. Just running and Crossfitting!! Yall that Crossfit how many days are you doing it? I am going for days a week.

As already stated in the crossfit thread, 3 on and 1 off is thought to be one of the better routines, if you can make it happen.

Hey guys. Not sure if this has been mentioned or not but if this is a repost just go ahead and ignore. For those of you waiting for slots and worried that you wont get in, there are more academy slots after the end of the 2010 fiscal year. The USMS has already been approved for 7 more CITP/BDUSM classes for fiscal year 2011. You should get in eventually.

Hey Switchback, this was posted on another forum by a current recruit down at FLETC. Any word around your parts that could confirm this?

So very quiet indeed Echo.. Hope everyone is doing well. Its been fairly silent on my end. Just remaining patient and waiting for the call to come. Kind of driving me a bit crazy but everyday when I wake to start working out I just remind myself to be patient.
Other than that. I figure that I will keep myself busy with other things. Anyone got any news on the class for next month? What about the last class still being for laterals only? I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the call to come soon.

I have been absent from the boards for awhile now. Trying to stay busy and not worry about "the call." Still waiting. My FIT exam expired (took it back in November) and I guess I won't retake it until I am slated for an academy. Oh well, been trying not to think about it.
