I am a region 7 app. also and have not seen or heard of any of us getting our Glenco date as of yet. I did see the NY guy's post, seems like we would be the next group to go.

I agree that we would be behind them too but there doesn't seem to be a followed pattern when it comes to this process. I can say I've followed it step by step and now I'm just waiting for the call, but others seem to be a lot of things out order. So I guess we will see how it goes.
Where in region 7 are you?

Hey all.... Region 7 applicant here finished everything and just waiting on the BI to clear....and the call. I spoke with HR this week and found out that calls for the February class were being made this week and if your BI hasn't cleared by now you will be in a later class. Most of region 7 is waiting to clear.

I also found out that there are just over 600 applicants in the pool right now Nationwide so good luck to all! Those odds aren't too bad!

Well group here we are again waiting and wondering if well get the call for the upcoming class in a few weeks. Calls are going out so I'm wondering if anyones heard anything as of yet. I spoke with the recruiter this morning about the process and classes. She basically said to be patient... How can I not?
Anyway I hope I get the call soon. I keep seeing post saying that most of region 7 is in a holding waiting to be cleared. Well see.

I got the call but I related I had already been to CITP so I was told they would get back in touch with me. I guess I should have kept my mouth shut and just went through it again haha. I was told I would either be in South or West Texas and I requested South.

Polygraph tomorrow for the FBI. This should be a tight race.

Hey! Can anyone tell me about the BI and how it's done? I've never been arrested or anything like that and I'm not a drug user, but BI just sounds scary. What are the disqualifiers? Thanks!

No new news? It seems as though a total of 2 maybe 3 have been called for region 7. Maybe 6 or 7 altogether have been called for the Feb class... I tell you the phone rings and I'm jumping to get it lately. Aside from reading other forums and seeing the progress being made I'm going crazy. Still remain patient though.

Chief, in regards to your question. The BI will cover work history, credit, personal references (school, work and neighbors) its pretty simple so long as you keep record of things. I've kept somewhat of a file about myself for a while (started it in the military when I did my first BI for my clearance. As I was told be honest and answer truthfully and it should go smooth.
The meeting with the investigator (should you have to do one) is simple. They ask questions about the things you listed and go from there. I met with my BI once and then bumped into her in the mall shopping. So I guess that makes twice. Anyway as long as you have things in order it shouldn't be hard filling the info out and talking to the investigator.

I am a region 7 applicant waiting for the call as well. As was previously mentioned calls for the Feb class have been going out over the past 2 weeks. Based on what information I have heard,the bulk of Region 7 positions offered thus far have been to the South and West Texas Districts of Region 7. So far positions have been filled for Laredo and Del Rio and supposedly El Paso is badly in need of new hires so I wouldn't be suprised if the next few Region 7 offers are for that location. Again this is only the information I have heard through the grapevine so I don't know how reliable it is but it is always fun to speculate while waiting! Good luck to everyone in the process.

Speculatings always fun. Keeps the board interesting. Where in region 7 are you Osujl?
with all the calls going to Texas I would surely head that way with no problem. But I guess well have to wait it out and see where they send me.

DarcKnight, I did my panel interview and orientation at Houston. I selected field offices in West Texas and South Texas on my dream sheet but I would go anywhere at this point. I haven't heard of anyone being picked up for New Mexico, Arizona, or S. California yet. It will be interesting to see what happens.
