Hello all! Just had my meeting with the background investigator on Monday for region7 and everything was good. He told me that the investigation was listed as priority. I'm wondering if that's a good thing. He also stated that he only has a certain amount of time to get it done. Other than that I'm still training for the FIT test. I'm curious as to whether or not anyone else from region 7 has heard anything.

You just met with your background investigator? So if you dont mind me asking, when did you have your interview and when did you attend the information session? I am trying to get a timetable going for myself since I was just at the info session for region 8.

I just received an email about an issue on my background. Im glad to know that I am still being considered! I just faxed over some info to resolve it..... Also heard that Nov
17th is a CI class (academy)

I went to the Region 7 orientation in April in Albuquerque, had my interview in June, August got my conditional offer also did my medical and submitted my background. Last week got the call from the investigator and met with him on Monday of this week. I have been told that its about 10 months with everything but it can be faster. But that's what my time line has been from start to today.

Does anybody know what is on the written test for usms i guess you take it the same day as the interview

It's not a test, per se. It is more of an evaluation of your ability to communicate in writing. You will be given something to write about and you write.
