Thanks Boxer, thats what I thought but I just wanted to confirm. It seems like I heard alot that morning and now I'm losing part of it. She said there was something they were going to give us there but that HR hadn't sent it. So to stand-by.
Hello everyone. I have a question I am able to do well on all of the fit test requirements except for the sit and reach. I am just not that flexible and it seems the more I run and train it just gets worse. Anyone got any suggestions.
Congratulations to everyone that has completed the interview portion of the process. Does the panel notify you on the spot if you have passed or do you have to wait for notification? Thanks.
I went to North Carolina for my process. I also took the written section. After I finished the written part, I received a letter saying that I had passed the second phase and what to expect in the coming months. It stated that in July we would receive a conditional letter of employment if we scored high enough on all parts. We would then be set up with the physical and then the fit test. Who knows if it was done the same way every time or in DC? Good luck to everyone!!!
Hey thanks, that was the letter they didn't have on monday but that was what she was trying to tell me. Curious, did you go on the 18th, (monday) or later in the week?
I was there on Tuesday in the morning.
anyone else going to be in DC tomorrow for an interview
Does anyone know how the sit-ups are scored for the fit test? Does someone hold your ankles/stand on your feet or must you perform them unassisted? Thanks for any help or guidance you can give.

Sharp123 from what I understand someone will be holding your ankles.
Thanks for your quick replies. It will definitely be beneficial to train the way they are going to test us. Thanks again and good luck to everyone in the process.
Does any one know how the near vision test is administered? Is it done with both eyes or is each eye tested separately? Also how is your depth perception tested? The USMS website only indicates that you must test no worse than 20/40 for near vision and must have normal clinical depth perception. Any insight would be much appreciated.
Has anyone heard how many positions are open in Region 2 for this drive? I heard that the Marshals are looking for over 500 positions in the next 3 years. The upcoming academy classes will have 48 per class.
