I wouldn't worry about posting that number - it's the Raleigh recruiting number that's already all over the internet. It's not a special line. Besides, I doubt there's more than one person in the entire country who is retarded enough to spend the next week with a room full of 1,000 phones, constantly dialing and clogging up the line. Those who need to get through will get through unhindered. It's not as if the email contained the home phone number for a Marshal or something truly private like that.

You're probably correct. Unhindered was not the experience I got from 3:17 when I got the e-mail until 4:00.....solid busy signal and over 300 calls.

I'm surprised that number didn't give you flashbacks. I saw it and instantly knew what it was. I can even still remember the pattern of my fingers on the dialpad...ugh.

I do have some good news for you if you're still in the race for Region 2 - I've had to drop out for various reasons, so there's one fewer person who went to an info session who will be accepting an interview. It won't help your odds much, but it all adds up.

Same here. I got through twice and no one answered. I'm interested if anyone has found out any of the other openings besides the 50 DC slots?

I called and got through to the DC number. The line goes to a voicemail but if you keep calling you will eventually get through. The recruiter on the phone did not tell me anymore than what was in the email. Good luck to everyone.

LESniper, what do you mean when you say the "50 DC slots?" Are you talking about 50 interview slots or are you referencing 50 positions available in DC for hire?

Hey Cybershock, how did the interview go? What kind of things can I expect or should I be ready for if I get the email? I was told by some of the DUSMs out here that they saw interviews set up in Phoenix for the week of June 8th -12th, I'm not sure if that is going to be for the region that I applied or was that offered to you guy's for your interviews?

I know its hurry up and wait time but did anyone catch what was to happen next. I completed the writing portion and was supposed to retrieve something from the people up front. She said they didn't send what ever it was but to stand-by. Does anyone have a clue as to what that was?
