people on the run

Lets say i am running an illegal drug lab or some sort of illegal organization.
what im try to ask is doesn't it not make sense for me to be doing this because i am going to get caught sooner or later by some agency. Eventually somebody is goning to catch me, maybe the dea, fbi, atf, U.S marshals, or if i dont get caught by them the detectives in which the cuty that i live in will get me or patrol cops.
-Isn't almost like a game who ever catches me first. To me i dont undestand why peolpe do things like this because someone will arrest you eventually.

Doesnt it not make sense for people to have illegal organizations because someone is going to catch you eventually. I think in the eyes of law, its like whos going to catch you first, and by who i mean either fbi,dea,atf,us marshals, or even the city detectives. Am i right about that.

Wouldn't it make better sense to run your illegal operation in a country that you don't live in? Worked well for Lucky Luciano after he was deported back to Italy. Works well for the drug lords in South America.

Isn't true that any person on the run from the police will always get caught. Sometimes it may take years but the criminal get caught eventually.
