Isn't true that any person on the run from the police will always get caught. Sometimes it may take years but the criminal get caught eventually.

Wish you woul dhave figured it out before posting the first time.

Exactly. This kid is starting to make me wonder bout him. Asking some pretty weird things.

Hmmmmm...I LOVE the story of what happen in a Mexico's prison. If a guy wants to run his illegal operation, he can run in M-E-X-I-C-O and if he gets CAUGHT, he will be BEATEN inside the prison cell by guards. I guarantee you that he'll come out with his face and shoulders so busted up, he looked like an ogre. That's what happened to a few of the men there. My beloved father-in-law told me that while I vacationed in Mexico. I went, "Coool! Why can't U.S. do that too?? It'll teach the drug lords, dealers, and bosses we meant business becuz they're the ones who invented and they're the ones who murdered ppl."

One problem, they won't hurt the mediums. A medium who receives a call and calls his dealer to meet up with the customer. Spoiled...argh!!!!

Not all crimes are solved, ESU. Home burglaries are an example, just to name one.

Material accumulation is a ticket. I know someone who sold drugs just to finance his computer gaming hobbies and later his college tuition. Sounds funny, doesn't it?

I suppose reality is that the temptation to be a small fish and just generate some small side cash is very alluring. With so many criminals out there, who's going to notice? On the other hand, all the robbing, stealing, and killing that goes on amongst dealers makes the drug business very dangerous. If you do become a big fish, you're probably going to get caught. My friend retired long before I met him, describing those reasons for his "retirement". The longer you stay in business, the more risk you have of something happening to you.

And, even if someone gets out of crime, he is still not "safe" until the statute of limitations has run. Especially with the federal government, and very long term investigations, it is not unusual to see people indicted just before the statute of limitations would have run on them.

In that case, the claim of "But, I retired 4 years ago", does not really matter.
