FLETC April 2009 Class

I'm a rookie 1811 with an OIG here in DC headed down to FLETC for a CITP class beginning 14 April - 1 July... any other CITP candidates headed down at the same time? Trying to get a sense of what the class composition will be like.

I was going to say that you should expect to be bored out of your mind. The hardest part about FLETC is getting there... followed closely with staying awake in class.

I never read so many books while sitting on the beach in my entire life!

...and enjoy the grade c chicken that they serve in the d-fac.

+1 to that. I'm at FLETC now and the fleas are just opening act for the mosquitos.

Here's something to think about when you get here...take a look around Brunswick and see how many seagulls there are...then look on campus and see how many there aren't. Gotta love that FLETC chicken!

I'll be back at FLETC for 2 weeks in May, and the ONLY thing I'm looking forward to while there (other than maybe a beer with coworkers off the clock) is Wednesday steak night.

ROS, the best of the herd hang out by the back gate near the Taj. I'll see if I can rope one for you and tie it to the fence till you get here. From there it's a short hop over to the grills at the pool.
