Did anyone apply for this opening which closed Feb. 2nd?

I did and just received a phone call for an interview...that was fast! Do you guys know if it's a 24/7 carry position? Any info would be appreciated.

Do you mean the public law formerly known as HR218?

I'm not an 1811, but I was under the impression that all of them were covered in that manner. Perhaps I was wrong.

Not all 1811 positions have 24/7 carry authority, though the vast majority I know of do (especially the "big name" agencies). I'm 99.9% sure EPA CID agents have 24/7 carry authority, though.

I'm not familiar with any EPA agents on this board, so the original poster may want to post his question on 911jobforums.com, where lots of agents from various agencies read and post.

They carry 24/7, we are currently working a case with them.
