Some nice tacti-cool pictures and wallpapers on the Nat-Geo page, though. Although I wouldn't expect anything less from a TV show. (Just take a look at DEA on Spike...)

I get that channel but I looked and it never showed on the schedule for today:confused: but I thought I saw it on the list when ROS posted. Maybe they changed it.

It aired, I watched it. Interesting but I would like to see more, like if it covered different areas of the job. They focused on the USS Cole Bombing investigation and the Agent Afloat. Overall it was good.

There was a lot they didn't focus on. I work general crimes (ex: death, theft, rape, burglary, etc.), which is sort of a "starting point" for many in NCIS, sort of like Patrol with a local PD. Nothing about our criminal mission (except the Cole bombing, which was more counterterrorism related) was shown in any depth. In addition to general crimes, we work investigations in narcotics, family sexual assault and child pornography, procurement fraud, etc. Also, a good chunk of our agency works in the Intel Community doing counterintel work (ex: espianage), however, for OPSEC reasons, it's obvious why that wasn't covered thoroughly.

I guess with just an hour of showtime they wanted to show the "high speed" stuff, namely: protection services, USS Cole investigation, HROTP training at FLETC, and our afloat program. That's a good slice of what this agency does, but not all, for sure.

They gave "Inside the real NCIS" an hour and "Inside the vietnam war" 3. Ummm :rolleyes:
