Noticed a bit of movement on my application today.

I applied for both GS 7 & 9. My GS 9 application has been "referred to management for further review."

Not sure if this will lead to a phone call or not.

I checked as well on their website and I was also referred to Management for GS 9.

I checked my application on FBIjobs, no one has contacted met yet.

I'm in western PA, so I guess I'd like to get Pittsburgh, however that would be a longshot, if not impossible. My other choices (ones that are more realistic) are Washington D.C., Chicago, and Philly.

I've been referred to management for a couple of weeks now. Nothing yet.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat as you guys. Guess I will just have to log into FBIJobs daily for the next few months to check for a change. This happened to me last year and all I got was a change from what of says now to something like "applicant not as good as others". Anyone get something different?

I actually got the call for an interview today.

Good to hear the process is somewhat moving along. Did they give you a choice as to what FO you are interviewing at or just what is closest to your home? Keep us posted and GL.

I got the call today as well. I believe that I was told to bring two copies of Standard Form 88, (a medical form) but for some reason I think My recruiter meant Standard Form 86 (national security employment form). Anyone else get told what form to bring?

I didn't receive the phone call but I did get an email from a FO stating they will call next week to set the interview up. In the email it said to have the SF 86 and a copy of SF 93 at all times. Did you guys who got the call get the email first or did they just call first?

I received an email this week as well and should be getting a call next week to schedule my interview. I have read quite a few messages from past applicants, some as far back as 2003, and I'm torn in half about what to think about the job and how to prepare for the interview. I'm curious how qualified I am compared to other applicants. If you all do not mind, please give some brief creditials.

I've recently purchased the FBI Careers book and I highly recommend it. While it is mostly geared toward the Special Agent candidate, it has a lot of information on all the careers the FBI has to offer. It gives techniques for preparing for different steps throughout the hiring process for both SA and support personnel. It also has a detailed section on the FBIs history and mission which is always a plus during an interview. "Knowledge is Power"
