    can bop co's carry off duty

    H i guy's i was just wondering are bop co's allowed to carry off duty or do they require a civilian permit?

    Yes. All Bureau of Prisons personnel, not just officers, may carry off-duty under LEOSA. Per BOP policy, you may not carry to and from work as privately owned weapons are prohibited to be stored on BOP property. The exception to this rule is MDC Guaynabo, PR where there is storage provided for privately owned weapons.
