    Capitol Police Written exam

I am signed up to take the written exam in 2 weeks. I have a 2 year college degree, however I am a bit rusty given I have been out of school for a few years.

I have searched online to try to find samples of what to expect or ways I can prepare for the test but no luck. It has math, grammar punctuation spelling and reading comprehension on it. Any advice on what to expect things to study, or links to a practice anything that would help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Welcome to RealPolice.

A few weeks ago, I posted a link to an exam booklet for the Treasury Enforcement Agents ("TEA") Examination published by LearningExpress. The TEA Exam is for the GS-1811 Criminal Investigator Job Series; sample questions are listed in Chapter 3, and two practice TEA exams are included in Chapters 9 and 10.

Although this booklet is geared toward 1811's, it also contains helpful tips, hints, clues, and study techniques which should help anyone preparing for an exam such as the one you will be taking. Plus, since its free, you've saved yourself about $20 in the process.

Then again, if you are more comfortable with position specific study guides geared more toward the uniformed LEO, take a look at these booklets:
