POV Mileage Rates

Effective March 19, 2008, GSA raised the POV mileage reimbursement rate for Federal travelers traveling on official business (with no GOV available) from $ . 485 to $ .505 per mile:

The IRS raised the deductible mileage rate to $ .505 per mile for everyone else effective January 1, 2008.

With the two cent per mile increase, I guess neither GSA nor IRS have seen the prices of gasoline at the gas pumps lately.
