I was wondering for those that work for a federal agency or did so in the past, how many did you apply to before you were offered a job?

Believe it or not, this is the one and only LE job I applied to.... at any level. I applied, pretty much, on a whim. Just lucky, I guess.

Apply to as many as you want, it can't hurt. I applied with 5 agencies, or at least I filed the intro paperwork with them. I made it through the whole process with 3, and turned down a few and finally took the best one -- though it took over 2 years to get the offer from the day I applied!!
