I was wondering what everybody's ideal federal jobs are. This is for those with a federal jobs, those in local or state, and also those that are in college or high school. I figured a lot of people will say FBI. Mine would probably be to work Secret Service.

it depends on what you want to do. The FBI is primarily terrorist oriented now so if that's your interest go for it (you are going to need to be profficient in some middle eastern language at at least a 2,2 level).

That's kind of a broad statement. In what aspect are you wondering? Most ideal for what (pay, local, work shedule, travel, benefits...etc)?

I would like to work for Diplomatic Service where I could travel overseas.
As I understand it, once you get 1811 status as a federal special agent it is much easier to move between the agencies.No one expects the spanish inquisition!
