Of interest is the FEDtalk show on December 7, 2007 (two weeks ago) related to the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association where they interview FLEOA National President Art Gordon. One of the first segments discusses a FLEOA Legislative initiative related to the US Marshals Service pushing for GS-1811-13 status for all DUSM's; later in the show they discuss an event in January to give recognition to 1811's who have served overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan. They only mentioned DoD Agencies (NCIS, AFOSI, Army CID, and CGIS), but I can't see how Switchback and the USMS wouldn't be included.

That is one of the thing that has baffled me about USMS. They definately deserve to have a pay step program that is similar to other 1811 outfits. Hopefully they will get the 13 level they so richly deserve.
