TEA Pass Rate
When I took my test in Boston for the ATF, the guy told me there were about 600 people signed up to take the Boston for the two days it was going on. I believe there were about 6 or 7 testing sights, so based on that, it puts the applicant pool around 3500-4000, my question is does anyone know the passing rate for the test? I have a feeling its not too incredibly high. Let me know what you think.

Nor
Just got me NOR for the ATF TEA; ELIGIBLE! I was unsure wether or not I passed because the math was really tough for me, but it turned out well. The ARCO study guide really helped. Now its back to waiting.

Thanks Mav,
I've heard the ATF is notoriously slow with their hiring process. I heard of people waiting up to five years to EOD. But it must be worth it because I've never heard an ATF Agent wanting to leave the agency.

Yep, of all the ATF agents I've ever met, they all had nothing but good to say about the agency. But be prepared for one of the longest processes out there!

Did anyone put in for the latest ATF announcement?
Does anyone have any insight of how many they are looking to hire?

Quick Question about USAjobs with this opening.
Do you need to send in the material stated in the announcement AND apply with a resume on that site, or just the material?
Thanks.

I passed the test back on 3/3 and still waiting for an interview. Just want to let all who apply under this announcement that the ATF has a ridiculously slow hiring process. Oh, I forgot to mention that I applied back on 9/07. Good luck guys.

I tested late Nov 07, and Interviewed Mid Sept. The panel told me about 2 months until I know one way or the other, but I know it can easily be 6 months + before I hear anything....

(New Orleans Tester) Got a call for an interview as well. Over at the 911 forum, a poster interviewed in August and has already got a notice that he passed the interview.
