TSA offers little to no training advantage in the LEO seekers field.
Also TSA is excepted service with paybanding. :rolleyes:
The only possible advantage TSA offers is:
A: You will be a Federal Employee
B: At one time a FAMS job listing gave preference to TSA people who applied.
Occasionally I see USAJobs openings that give preference to DHS/TSA employees but it is RARE, Rare, rare.

TSA is what it is....No matter how many badges, creds, uniform changes the headshed gives them...They will not be Leo's..... :rolleyes:

In my personal opinion, work 0083 job first for a year or two, that will give you a better resume than TSA. Then move on to a 1811, 0080 or whatever.
