Capitol Police backlog??

Seen on another discussion board (911jobforums.com) that the Capitol Police are backed up and it now it may take longer than the supposed "5 months" to process applications now that they've already hired more. Any merit to this?

hello Im new to this site. I dont have any inside knowledge but I would say they have a significant backlog. I started the process last year have gone through all phases. I was given a conditional back in June that is good until December 1st. It is now November 4th and the last I heard from my investigator was that my application was active awaiting a decision. I think I am getting the run around.
