For the life of me I cannot figure out why this thread is so dead when it is free, as opposed to pay forums that are getting new ICE applicants to join left and right. Let's try to get some lively conversations going. How about we start by re-introducing ourselves, even if we may have done it in the general section in the past. I'll start. My quals are as follows: law degree, undergrad in finance, fluent in Spanish. I am testing on 3/31.

If anyone has questions about law school, the admissions process, or practicing law, feel free to ask. Other than that, I may be able to answer some basic questions about the ICE application process from what I've read, but I'm sure there are others here who know a lot more.

Yeah, the ICE thread here has been pretty quiet lately for some reason. Quals: BS/MS in Criminal Justice. 2 years local, 2 years+ federal law enf. Im a Sept 07 tester, passed the SI in Dec. and am waiting on the TO. Anyone have any questions on the process or anything let me know.

I'm also taking the test on 3/31. I just wanted to know if ICE SA had a fitness exam. If they do, what are the requirements. Does anyone know if it is easier or harder than the physical requirements for DEA? Thanks!!

Nope ICE SA does not currently have a pre-emloyment PT test.

It's just that I work with both ICE SA's and DEA SA's and I've noticed a lot of similarites. I am very aware of the DEA PT requirements and just wanted to get an idea for ICE, if they have one.

i think the physical requirements for ice is merely participation. i work with a 300lb'er. i dont think ive ever seen a over-weight dea agent.

During the CITP and ICESAT you will be PT'd till it hurts, I've heard. I have a couple friends who went through and they both say PT at the academy is no joke. However, once you graduate staying in shape is up to the individual.

I have learned over the years to just go on with life as if the application process dosent exist. You can go crazy trying to figure out what is going on, and analyzing things week after week. Try to sit tight (I know it is not easy). Your call will come eventually im sure.

So I've been reviewing for the ICE SA exam using the booklet that they sent me. Thus far the test doesn't seem to be so difficult, however I wanted to get a sense of what the math portion was like from those who've already taken the exam. Is it harder than the booklet, or about the same?

I've been using the Arco book as well, and that thing is a pain in the ass. LoL
