ok so I e-mailed DSC about the freeze and the response I got was that they had not heard anything about one and that the FY10 budget was already approved with 1.86 billion going to ICE OI so now I am just confused

Your score should be listed below your grade level on you NOR letter. It doesn't say "Score" but it is the number that resembles a percentage score (i.e. 70.5, 80.5, or 90.5)

Just an update to those still waiting. Looks like they are sending most new hires to the SWB again. I wasnt too surprised by this as they told us back at FLETC the focus on new hires in 2010 would be the SWB. Good luck to all still waiting on the call!

I reluctantly declined a SWB offer this month. Several factors came into play, but family must come before any job. I wasnt offered some of the "better" SWB locations now being offered. All things happen for a reason.....at least that's what everyone is telling me.

Im sorry to hear that bro. Im sure you did the best thing for your family, no job is worth your family's happiness IMHO. Im a big believer that everything does indeed happen for a reason as well.
