I'm a March 08 tester and things have been moving along swimmingly until a little snafu with my Medical, but hopefully that will be straightened out this week, I've been watching the different forums and everyone is talking about T&S and being stuck there. I know that things for ICE moved from CASS to applicationmanager.gov , but when I log in I don't see anything that even resembles T&S or any updated info about my medical or my BI???

Any Ideas or suggestions out there?

Unless things have changed, application manager only notifies you up to the interview results. It never has updated T&S status. Since cass went away the only way to find out if you are in T&S is to call and get a status update.

Oops... I said I was waiting for a TO. Actually, I'm waiting for my NOR from the SI, then hopefully a TO. I didn't realize group 2 from the 08 testers hadn't received tentative offers yet. No wonder you are so anxious. Hopefully they come soon and then get faster with each round.

Not quite sure what constitutes "group 2" from the March 08 group. I know panel interviews began around October 08 based on scores, 95-100 went first, 90-94 2nd, and so on. The 08 testers should almost be done with their panels. 70 is passing and based on the score range and the panel time lines, they should be wrapping up by mid-July.

I noticed posts stating that some 08 applicants already received the NOR, TO, final offer and EOD. Not sure how accurate that information is, not doubting it either. Some posters received NOR stating that they passed the panel interview from January/February 09 but are still awaiting a TO. Maybe ICE is waiting to finish up all 08 applicants' panel interviews and then mail out the TOs according to the agency's needs.

Not sure how applicants are ranked after the panel stage. My theory is that the initial written exam scores do not come into play, applicants are placed in a database indicating any skill set (ex. language, IT, military, LE) and the database can be manipulated based on the agency's needs. If the agency decides it needs people with language proficiency a spreadsheet can be generated, along with the specific language each applicant speaks. But the method only appears to be applicable to language applicants, unless the agency have subcategories for military and LE applicants, along with more detailed subgroups for IT applicants.

I guess the way I have mentally grouped 08 testers is:
Group 1: Above 90
Group 2: 85-90
Group 3: Below 85

Yes, some 08 testers have received the final offer and FLETC date, or at least one: our friend glockpacker.

ElGuapo I'm pretty sure you have the groupings right. I tested 03/08 (91)and have my oral boards 10/08, the same time as my buddy (97).

Has anyone else from the 03/08 tests gotten final offer?

There's quite a few from group one that got the final offer if you follow different boards. Someone on another board said they spoke to someone in Dalls who told them the TO's are ready to be sent out, but they have not been given the go-ahead to send them...strange.

Maybe the TO are being held and will not be distributed until the 08 testers finish their panels. As I said, people who with scores 70-79 should be having their panels right about now and will most likely be done by mid-July.
At that point the TOs will be distributed. Maybe this is to ensure equality and not cause undue influence or bias in the minds of the 70-79 group. Otherwise it may seem the offers already went out before the 70-79 group even finished their panels.

I know someone who tested in the 70's who completed their panel before I did. I scored in the low 80's. I dont think there is a rhyme or reason to this.

I called Dallas today to see what my status was and they told me that "they haven't updated the status' yet" . . . :confused: I was so caught off guard by that response that I thanked the girl and hung up :(

I think I'll try my luck again tomorrow and see if someone who knows their hole from their elbow picks up and can give me a straight answer.

I was so caught off guard because everytime I've talked to someone in Dallas, they are very nice and usually very helpful?

Please let me know what they tell you, I can't even get someone to answer the phone...so I guess you're better off than I am.
