Did you have to begin the entire process over again, test and everything?

Have any of the Spring 2008 test takers heard anything about what happens next? Will there be a request for supporting documents to be submitted, prior to the interview? I suppose I should just put the whole process out of mind and settle in for the long wait.

yes, i had to start ALL over again! luckily, i didnt have to test, interview, med/phys, or endure another b.i., but it still took 17 months to get back to t&s.

I am an Aug 05 test taker. My background interview was in October 2006. It is now May 2008 and My background and quals are still pending. Nothing has changed on my CASS screen in almost two years. I e-mailed Team 1 with the following response:
"Hello
Due to the privacy of background investigation process, we do not have access to any specific details regarding any applicant’s investigation. Keep in mind, that everyone will clear at a different rate depending on a number of factors, e.g., number of previous residences, ability to reach people indicated on your SF86, and so forth. The investigation process is extremely detailed and any issue that is identified will be researched in-depth before a final determination is made.
You investigation is still ongoing and if additional information is needed the Security unit will contact you directly. We continue to ask for your patience in this process.
Regarding you qualifications, they are determined periodically throughout the pre-employment process. Once your qualifications have been determined you will receive a letter informing you of your qualified grade."

Looks like ICE just posted some vacancies. I'm sending my app today. I thought you had to contact your local FO to apply for the 1811 position with ICE. Oh well, here it goes anyway.

Those vacancies are not with ICE OI, they are with FPS. If you notice also, there is only 1 vacancy per city. Im not even gonna waste my time applying.

Yeah somehow I have a feeling all those slots will go to current FPS Officers/LESO's anyway...

Excuse my ignorance - "T/S" is apparently something after everything else has been completed (except for a FLETC date) but what does it stand for?

T&S = Training and Scheduling.

Essentially, once all of your pre-employments are fulfilled you are "Referred to Schedule EOD" with EOD being entrance on duty. T&S is a term used to describe the wait before that magical call comes in telling you when to report to FLETC.
