I just got back from UPTP in March. PT will entirely depend on your PTD instructor. The instructor for my class concentrated on DT and arrest techniques (AT). The other side of the class usually ran.

PT is usually 2 hours a day and USUALLY consisted of a warm up, some push ups, planks, sit ups, etc...we would run to a sand flea and fire ant infested cleared area and practice AT (handcuffing,baton) and then run to another spot and do more.

KETTLE BELLS, I REMEMBER KETTLE BELLS, FIRE ANTS, SAND FLEAS, ROLLING AROUND IN THE SAND AFTER IT RAINED AND YOU LOOKED LIKE A SUGAR COOKIE. I, due to my large structure, looked like a cookie monster. I LOVED IT! I wonder if they would let me go back.

Great people and training @ FLETC...I wish it was a but more paramilitary but overall I had a great time and quality training.
