    They still wont be able to take their duty weapons home. HR 218 will allow them to carry their personal weapon off duty....if their department leaders allow it.

    I dont even think HR 218 would cover us since we are not employed by a governmental agency. Board of Governor FRLEOs would qualify.

    Actual HR 218 text:

    "qualified law enforcement officer' means an employee of a governmental agency who..."

    I sent an email to the DOJ asking for clarification on this over a year ago, no response. This is all mute anyway, we will not be 0083's anytime soon. If the banks have it their way, we will never become 0083's.
